Some Brand sketches

Well, my character Brand has felt neglected lately, and he's been nagging at me for nearly a year to draw him. I finally did so with quite a bit of a makeover, specifically his hair.

On the left is Brand in his street clothes. He always wears his blue zip-up sweater no matter what the weather is like, which tends to overheat him in the middle of summer. He's in his mid twenties here.

On the right we meet Brand in new light as the chemist he will become in the future. After obtaining his PHD in chemistry, Brand becomes bitter and dark after spending way too many hours stuck in laboratories doing research on radioactive compounds and the potential power source they contain. After many years of never receiving the credit he thinks he deserves, Brand decides to take matters into his own hands and starts selling powerful radioactive compounds of his own creation on the black market. Brand is notorious for being one to personally deliver his products to his buyers. Here Brand is a bit older, imagine him in his forties with a bit of grey starting to creep in.

....And that's all I got so far. I wanted to do something a little different, and go with some sort of expression that's not neutral and I think I did that well with Chemist Brand. There's room on the page for a third sketch, but I can't think of anything appropriate to fill the space. I do plan to color both of these sketches, one digitally and one traditionally for practice; however, it is frustrating over how I want to color both. It's been a year since I've colored anything. :S
